I’d be a virgin if I wasn’t a singer – Ed Sheeran reveals

Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, Ed Sheeran has revealed how being a musician affected his sexual life and orientation.

The British singer made the revelation in a video shared on his Instagram page.

According to the 33-year-old musician, he would have been a virgin if he wasn’t singing.

“If I wasn’t a musician, I’d be a virgin,” he shared.

Sheeran’s first public romance was with Scottish singer Nina Nesbitt in 2012.

Sheeran wrote the songs ‘Nina’ and ‘Photograph’ about Nesbitt.

Sheeran began dating Athina Andrelos in 2014, however the relationship ended in February 2015.

She was the idea for his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’.

In July 2015, Sheeran started dating his childhood friend Cherry Seaborn.

They announced their engagement in January 2018 and married one year later.

Cherry is the idea for Sheeran’s song ‘Perfect’.

The couple had their first daughter in 2020, and their second daughter on May 19, 2022.
