"You don't have to go to University to be successful" -- Rishi Sunak

There are more than one way to having a successful career path, and if the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has his way, the path towards the University would be the least of the route to success.

The Prime Minister in an X account linked to him, asserted that attending university is not the only route to success in life. Sunak, an alumnus of both Oxford University and Stanford University, shared this perspective on his official X page on Wednesday, May 29.

This statement follows reports that British ministers are set to urge the independent regulator, the Office for Students (OfS), to cap enrollment in courses that do not yield “good outcomes.”

Sunak highlighted that while the current system benefits many individuals, a significant number of people are being “let down” by it. He emphasized the need for alternative pathways to success, suggesting that university education is not the sole answer for everyone.
