Naira is now the World’s Worst Performing currency – Bloomberg report

According to a new report from Bloomberg, the naira, the country’s currency, has lost value and become the worst-performing currency in the world over the past month.

Israel orders more Palestinians to evacuate Rafah

In a further sign that the military is moving on with its preparations for a ground assault on Rafah, Israel issued a request on Saturday for Palestinians residing in more areas of the southern city of Rafah in Gaza to leave and relocate to what it refers to as an extended humanitarian area in Al-Mawasi.

A military spokesman also urged residents and displaced persons in the Jabalia neighborhood of northern Gaza and 11 other neighborhoods within the enclave to relocate right away to areas west of Gaza City in a post on the social media platform X. Read more here.
