Chelsea vs. Brighton and Hove Albion: Confirmed Lineup

Chelsea renew hostilities with Brighton and Hove Albion once more as they are set to face the side for the second time this season after eliminating them from the Carabao Cup a few weeks back.

Following the defeat to Newcastle United last weekend at the Saint James’ Park, the Blues hope to get back to winning wins to improve on their points tally as the 2023/24 season heads into the busy part of its schedule.

With a trip to Old Trafford in mid-week coming up, Chelsea will want to salvage maximum points against Brighton to boost confidence ahead of the Manchester United clash.

The Seagulls however will be eyeing a top 4 or top 6 finish at the end of the season under new boss, Robert De Zerbi if they can climb up the table starting from this game.

They currently sit at 8th position in the league, and a win at the Stamford Bridge could fast-track their European dreams as it catapults them into 7th, 1 point above Manchester United whose defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday, dropped them from 6th to 7th.

So far in the premier league this season, Brighton has claimed 6 wins from 13 games, managed 4 draws and have faced 3 defeats, a contrast to Chelsea that have faced 5 losses, managed 4 draws and won just 4 games from 13 games.

Here goes the Confirmed Lineup for both sides;
