Arsenal vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers: Confirmed XI

After a thrilling mid-week decimation of French Ligue 1 club, Lens in the Champions League, Arsenal return to hostile tides in the premier league to face Wolves.

Currently seated top in the premier league table, the Gunners have the advantage on them to increase the gap ahead of other title contenders such as Manchester City who are behind on 1 point, and Liverpool who sit 3rd and behind on 2 points.

However, Wolverhampton Wanderers despite not garnering as much point as would have been expected this season, have put up performances to show they are not a side to overlook. And if anything, a game like this at the Emirates is one that Mikel Arteta needs to worry about.

Wolves on their end, have faced so many controversial decisions go against them this season, with manager, Gary O’Neil last weekend after the 3-2 defeat to Fulham, made an impassionate plea to the referees and the VAR team in complaint of another decision going against his team.

In contrast to an Arsenal side currently sitting 1st in the league table on 30 points, 15 more than Wolves who sit 12th on the table.

The Midlands side will be hoping to give the premier league yet another shocker this weekend, taking confidence in the 2-1 win against Manchester City a few weeks back to stall City’s chase for a 4th league title.

Can they return the advantage back to the Etihad side?

Here goes the Confirmed lineup for both sides;
