The Texas teen who has been accused of robbing a woman and leaving her paralyzed has allegedly confessed to the crime over a jail phone.

 

 

According to reports, the 18-year-old suspect said, “when I snatched a purse, the lady ran with the money, I grabbed her and slammed her.”

 

 

The incident occurred on March 6th, when the victim, a 58-year-old woman, was walking in a parking lot in Houston.

 

 

The suspect allegedly approached her from behind, snatched her purse, and then pushed her to the ground. The victim suffered serious injuries, including a broken neck, and was left paralyzed.

 

The suspect was arrested a few days later and is currently in custody. During a phone call from jail, he allegedly made the confession to a family member. The call was recorded and turned over to law enforcement.

 

The suspect has been charged with aggravated robbery and is being held on a $100,000 bond. The victim’s family has expressed relief at the news of the alleged confession and hopes that justice will be served.
