On Sunday, October 28th 2018, the Awesome Treasures Foundation held its 4th annual Awesome Awards and Thanksgiving Concert at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The annual Awesome Awards is a platform designed to recognise and celebrate accomplished individuals, who display excellence in their chosen field of endeavour and whose life and decisions have created a ripple effect of the change, which has impacted many.

This year’s event was commemorative as it also marked the 50th birthday of our founder; Olajumoke Adenowo. Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain Assembly opened the event with prayers and words of exaltation. Kemi Lala Akindoju Fregene was the compère of the event which featured the amazing Lagos Community Gospel Choir (LCGC), Big Bolaji, Chidinma and many others who ignited the hall.

The Awesome Awards took a different turn this year, as there were three (3) categories to honour individuals special to the founder; Woman in Leadership, Grand Preceptress and Grand Matriarch. Charlotte Osei was awarded “Woman in Leadership 2018” for redefining leadership, remaining remarkably resilient and delivering excellent results on every platform.

Modupe Okebukola was awarded “Grand Preceptress 2018” for decades of service to humanity in the field of Education. “The Grand Matriarch” award was won by Prof. Olufunmilayo Oloruntimehin for mentoring a leader, role model and mentor to many and being a blessing and inspiration to multiple generations. • Emmy Madubuko– Kenyan National and Global Ambassador for Culture and Tourism

• Mo Abudu– Media Mogul,
• TY Bello– Renowned Photographer and Gospel Artist,

For over 19 years, Awesome Treasures Foundation, a faith-based Non-Governmental Organization recognized by the United Nations (UN), has been actively involved in raising transformational leaders towards a National Renaissance, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals declared by the UN. Its goal is to raise “1000 Leaders By 2030’’.
