Nollywood star actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde was awarded the Movie Icon of the Year at the 2018 City People Movie Awards which took place last night at the Balmoral Event Centre, Ikeja.

Some of the other celebrities who took home awards for the night include Ruth Kadiri for Best Actress of the Year, Adeniyi Johnson for Best Supporting Actor of the Year (Yoruba), Eniola Ajao for Best Supporting Actress of the Year (Yoruba), Femi Adebayo for The Most Innovative Actor of the Year and Charles Inojie for Comic Actor of the Year.
