Kanye West, deletes accounts, disappears on social media

American rapper Kanye West has deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

“Sorry, that page doesn’t exist” is the error message on his Twitter page while on Instagram, his handle brings up a similar message: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

His disappearance from social media comes a day after his wife Kim Kardashian revealed that they were both collaborating on a children’s clothing line named Kids Supply.

Kanye West has let out series of Twitter rants in the past few years.

In February 2016, the rapper publicly admitted to a personal debt of $53 million.

The 38-year-old record producer took to his Twitter page to plead help from Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook co-founder and CEO.

West asked for $1 billion and urged fans to help him reach out to Zuckerberg.

The rapper was late last year hospitalised in Los Angeles for “temporary psychosis”.

West was said to have been acting erratically when was taken to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

He subsequently cancelled 23 dates from his Saint Pablo tour.
