Abandoned Baby Found In Anambra State

A baby suspected to have been abandoned, was, on Monday, discovered at about 10.50pm in Umukabia village, Neni, Anambra State.

The victim, who is about 6 months old, was taken to Neni Police division by the Chairman, Vigilante group Neni branch, Titus Ogudogwo.

Confirming the incident, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, said efforts were being made to trace the parents of the child.

He, however urged members of the public with useful information that could help trace the parent of the child, to report at the Neni division.
