Zidane wants the France National team job but PSG want to make him Best Paid Manager
Like it was with the Kylian Mbappe saga, Paris Saint Germain aren’t ready to let go their interest in former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane as reports say they aren’t really confident in current manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
The Paris club is said to offer the French man an eye watering deal to make him the best paid coach in the world should he agree to a deal to manage the club.
PSG do not trust Mauricio Pochettino as coach as a lot of managers have been linked to replace the Argentine, especially after Kylian Mbappe’s renewal of PSG contract is believed to have something to do with the Argentine’s potential exit.
Zinedine Zidane though, is the Parisians’ first choice in the list despite having turned down the French giants several times.
Zidane is said to be aiming high as he is believed to have interests in becoming the France coach after the World Cup.
However, as seen with the Mbappe saga, PSG aren’t ready to give up on their prize and reportedly met with the former Real Madrid coach last week as per Sports journalist Ramon Fuentes.
The offer Zidane had on the table would make him the best coach in the world as he would earn 25 million euros net a year therefore receiving more than Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid (24) and Pep Guardiola at Man City (23).
