“Your sister had two babies and she is still not married” – Tweep bashes Bella over her recent post

Bella Okagbue, has come under heavy criticism after she accused Nigerians of being judgmental of celebrities who give birth outside wedlock.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Bella decided to react to news of the engagement between American reality TV star, Molly Mae and her boyfriend, Tommy Fury.

She stated that she always thought Molly and her partner were married all along as they already have a child together.

According to her, if Molly was a Nigerian reality TV star, she would have been bashed and dragged to filth for having a child before settling down with a partner.

“Wait, molly-mae just got engaged? Why did I think they have been married all this while? So they live together and even have a baby🤪.
She needs to thank God she’s not Nigerian because… lol,” she tweeted on Monday, July 24.

The message, however, did not get the reaction it was intended for as many didn’t hesitate to criticize her for stereotyping Nigerians.

Some stated that if she desires to live with her partner, Sheggz, out of wedlock, she should proceed without being jugemental on other Nigerians.

One tweep brought up the case of Bella’s sister, Sandra Okagbue, who has two children with singer Flavour without being married to him. According to this netizen, her sister hasn’t faced the level of criticism Bella suggested.

“But your sister had two babies outside wedlock and is still unmarried and nobody beat her . If that’s what you want to do go ahead and stop disturbing us”, she tweeted.
