Adeshola Bello, the prosecution counsel, informed the court that the claimed crime was committed on the wrong date.
“We have on record October 10 but the date was October 12,” Bello said.
He asked the court to allow the prosecution permission to make an adjustment, which the court did.
According to Bello, the accused offense violated Section 229 of the Lagos State Criminal Code of 2015.
However, when arraigned before judge Modupe Nicole-Clay, Ogbonna pled not guilty to the accusations leveled against him.
