In a series of videos gaining traction on social media, a young mother had been apprehended by the police after she failed to provide proof that the baby she was carrying is hers.
Insisting that she is the mother of the child, she narrated how she boarded a bus from Enugu to Port Harcourt and was detained by the police after failing to prove her identity as the child’s mother at a checkpoint.
She said she is currently at the Imo state CID.
Many claimed that her release was falsified, however, at the time of filing this report, the state police command has yet to react to the incident.
