World’s first permanently frozen hotel unveiled in Sweden | PHOTOS
A new hotel called, Icehotel, located in Sweden, has unveiled a new wing which will stay permanently frozen all year round.
The new wing, called Icehotel 365, makes use of solar power to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees Fahrenheit.
Over the course of 27 years, the IceHotel365 has been built and rebuilt in the village of Jukkasjarvi, 200km north of the Arctic Circle.
The hotel has an ice church, a floating bed, a champagne-themed ice bar, and a frozen art gallery.
More than 40 artists and designers from nine different countries have worked on the hotel.
The new hotel has 20 suites; eleven art suites and nine deluxe suites while the full hotel has 55 rooms.
The frosty hotel also boasts of warm rooms and saunas for those who don’t like shivers.
