Women go naked to protest 'continuous detention' of manager of demolished hotel

Ogoni women in Rivers State took to the streets to stage a peaceful protest over what they termed the ”continuous detention” of the manager of Prudent Hotel which was demolished under the supervision of the state governor, Nyesom Wike.

The Rivers state government on Monday May 25, announced that Bariledum Azoroh, the manager of the demolished hotel, was among the 27 new cases of coronavirus recorded in the State.

Azoroh and the other patients have been taken into isolation.

A report that was countered by the owner of the hotel, Promise Gogorobari, who claimed Azoroh is hale and hearty and is currently being detained illegally.

The protesting women who were seen carrying different placards, demanded Azoroh’s immediate release from the state’s Isolation center.

I love to read, write and TRAVEL!!! The media space is my canvas to paint the truths of our brands and the stories of our Nigerian culture. I love a good book any day because with them I can travel to spaces that are perfect in their frame.
