Wizkid’s Staff Reportedly Held Hostage

The staff of the Afrobeat singer, Wizkid has allegedly been held hostage in Abijan after failing to appear at the scheduled concert.

Wizkid had reportedly failed to appear at his concert in Ghana, Abidjan on December 10, and one of his staff was held hostage.

His absence stirred disappointment and held hostage the staff. Also there was an uproar on social media as some fans called for his arrest while others expressed immense disappointment in him.

WizKid had, however, apologized for his absence and explained why he couldn’t make an appearance.

However, according to latest rumors, the singer’s entourage is being kept captive in Abidjan after he failed to appear.

One tweep identified as @chisomnwoye1 alleged: “Guess what wizkid staffs that arrived earlier are being held hostage here in Abidjan up until he pay for the mess he cause in Abidjan. it’s the disrespect for the fan. After he will write an apology”
