Wizkid, Sarkodie, Funke Akindele… nominated for Ghana-Naija Showbiz Awards 2017

The first edition of Ghana-Naija Showbiz Awards will take place in Lagos on Sunday, May 14, 2017.

Music stars Wizkid, Tekno, Kiss Daniel, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, and 2017 AMVCAs award-winner, Funke Akindele lead Nigerian entertainers in the recently released nominees list.

Ghanaians meanwhile hope Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Yvonne Nelson, Bisa Kdei, Becca, Juliet Ibrahim, and TV host Peace Hyde won’t disappoint them after receiving major nominations as well.

Wizkid’s nominated in the artiste of the year category with Olamide, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Yemi Alade among others.

Olamide, Phyno, Reminisce and Falz, as well as Sarkodie, EL, and Edem are the nominated artistes in the Best Rap Artiste category.

Kiss Daniel’s New Era, Sarkodie’s Mary, Bisa Kdei’s Breakthrough, and God Over Everything by Patoranking are nominated for Album of the Year.

Meanwhile, ‘Mad Over You’, ‘Pana’, ‘Go Higher’, ‘Skin Tight’, ‘Mansa’ and ‘Fada Fada’ are nominated for Song of the Year.
