Wizkid, Davido squash beef as they hug it out at a night club in Lagos

Two music heavyweights in the Nigerian entertainment industry, Wizkid and Davido have finally settled their misunderstandings at a night club in Lagos.

Wizkid and Davido are two of the most respected Afrobeats singers in the continent of Africa, and they have both gained global recognition over the past few years.

Netizens have claimed that the two singers are beefing each other as they were not usually seen together in the studio, on performing stage, parties, etc.

We may go by what the netizens have to say being the fact that they don’t support each other’s work. Here are some of the reasons why netizens may be correct;

When Wizkid released his ‘Made In Lagos’ album in 2019, Davido took to his social media account to congratulate him. Wizkid however, snubbed him by not responding to his wishes.

When Davido released his third studio album, ‘A Better Time’ in 2020, Wizkid did not congratulate him. Wizkid however congratulated some artists that released their projects the same year Davido released his.

During Davido’s N1 milion donation challenge that was held late last year which saw many music artists donate their own money to Davido, Wizkid also snubbed Davido by not contributing any monies. Even when Davido called him out, he still ignored him.

In all, we are happy that both artistes are back together now. All thanks to Quilox night club that made it possible that both artists were present at the time, and in the same location.
