Windstorm destroys cars, worsens Lagos gridlock | See Photos

Yesterday, there was heavy downpour across Lagos state with the effect felt hours after the rain subsided.

While some roads were flooded, the wind uprooted trees in different locations. At Kingsway Road in Ikoyi, a tree fell on two cars while there was gridlock across the city.
