Femi Babafemi, the spokesperson of NDLEA, has given reasons why two Marlian singers, Oniyide Azeez AKA Zinoleesky and Ilerioluwa Oladimeji AKA Mohbad, were arrested in the late hours of February 23.
TopNaija recalls that some NDLEA officials stormed an apartment where the Marlian music stars were, in the middle of the night on Wednesday.
In an interview with DailyTrust, spokesperson, Babafemi revealed that the Marlian Music signees were arrested following credible information that they were in possession of hard drugs, Molly and Cannabis.
According to him, about five were arrested when the house was searched.
In his words;
”Yes, they have been arrested because we had reliable information that they were in possession of drugs. We moved in on them and recovered drugs. That is why five of them were arrested; three males and two females.
When their house was searched we found in their possession molly and cannabis. The investigation is still ongoing but we have to trace where they are getting these substances from.”
