Why the European Super League is a good thing -- Ancelotti

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti sings a different hymn contrary to every European manager in the game as he promotes the recently announced European Super League led by Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez.

In promoting the reasoning behind the new division, the Madrid boss insists it will eliminate the monopoly that now exists in football.

“I think it was an important decision for all the clubs,” Ancelotti stated following his team’s La Liga victory at Alaves.

He further added,

“The international calendar can be improved, and I think it can be positive for everyone.”

Bernd Reichart, CEO of A22 Sports Management, echoed the sentiment, underlining the league’s objective to create a competition embraced by fans worldwide.

“Our aim is clear: to work with clubs and stakeholders to establish the best competition, cherished by fans across Europe and globally,” he stated.

Amidst strong disapproval from numerous clubs and fans, A22 Sports Management, the driving force behind the proposed league, revealed an ambitious format for the league’s revival.

Despite notable rejections from prominent clubs like Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, a founding member of the initial 12, continues to stand in solidarity with the Super League. President Florentino Perez remains a pivotal figure in its support.
