“Why the altercation happened” — Tacha

Big Brother Naija Star, Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, recently shed light on a heated altercation she had with a keke (tricycle) driver in Lagos.

The incident unfolded when the reality TV celebrity posted a video on her Twitter account, illustrating a tense exchange of words between herself and the “half-drunk” keke driver, who had allegedly damaged her car and showed no willingness to apologize.

In her tweet, the 27-year-old shared her frustration about the driver’s lack of remorse, revealing that it was the tricycle’s owner who eventually apologized on his behalf.

Tacha’s video footage depicted the argument, and her accompanying commentary shed light on the situation.

“That keke man was highly drunk!! Smelling alcohol, so early in the morning!

“Refused to say ‘sorry’ didn’t care to come down to even look at the damage! No atom of remorse whatsoever because we’re women and there’s nothing we can do,” Tacha expressed.

She continued,

“The guy was legit looking down on us, in his mind, ‘na man give her the car.’ Only to find out the Keke isn’t even his as the owner had to come out begging on his behalf! What can I do?? Humans, sha.”

Tacha further explained her perspective on the incident, expressing her intention to share a detailed account of her experience with the keke driver on her YouTube channel.

She addressed criticisms from some individuals who had labeled her as a “bully” and defended her actions, stating,

“This man hit my bumper, didn’t stop! Kept on going until he pulled the entire thing off! So you’re trying to say I should have been clapping for him?? Heii God.”
