United States Vice President Kamala Harris has faced some criticism regarding her choice of a life partner after being endorsed for the 2024 presidential elections by the Democratic Party.
However, American rapper, Cardi B taking to her social media profile on Twitter, stepped forward to defend Harris and shade the Vice President’s critics. The famed artiste, via her post, questioned the right those who criticize Harris have regarding her private life.

The rapper goes on to stress on the hypocrisy she perceives from her critics, asking; “Do y’all hire people based on who they fcking??”
Cardi B however received mixed reactions in her comment section, with her detractors questioning her interest in politics despite knowing she herself was a controversial figure in the public scene. Others questioned her split with Offset.
The United States’ Vice President is currently married to Douglas Emhoff an American lawyer, with the pair tying the nuptial knots in 2014. Harris’ sister; Maya Harris officiated the ceremony.
