In an interview with BBC Igbo, said the normal northerner has at least two wives and this aides the general public by keeping ladies from wandering into prostitution.

He said, “The normal Northerner marries two, three, four ladies, and they are helping the general public, since it is the financial decline that has influenced such countless ladies who you see doing prostitution. In any case, all things considered, is that Christianity doesn’t permit that in the South but then, the normal Southern man has 10 girlfriends.”

Ned Nwoko further stated, “I love my way of life as far as I might be concerned, not as they are attempting to weaken it. Igbo culture is superb and ought to be advanced the manner in which it has consistently been. In any case, in any event, seeing that, take a look at your populace in Nigeria and what I will call economy of marriage, as an Igbo man with one wife, four kids, a Northerner has four wives with five kids each, in the following 10 years, 20 years, imagine the number of inhabitants in the Northerners.”
