Why I Don’t Have Respect For The Lagos State Government — Mr. Macaroni
Nigerian Skit maker, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni has narrated how the humiliation he received from the Lagos State Governor took away his respect for them.
The comedian and actor, Mr. Macaroni narrated how the Government tried to engage him privately despite the public humiliation last year, 2021.
The comedian revealed this during an interview with journalist, Rakiya Abdul Karim, while recalling his ordeal at the hands of police officers.
The content creator said that he will never be open to having private conversations with the Lagos state government following his ordeal at the hands of police officers after that he was arrested in February 2021 during the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protest.
Recall that the protest was to forestall the planned reopening of the toll plaza in Lagos.
According to Debo, the state government tried to have private conversations with him, but he refused because he wanted them to engage him publicly the same way they embarrassed him in public.
He further stated that he is not scared of them because they lost every iota of respect when they decided to manhandle him.
