Why does everyone think intimacy means sex? – Denrele Edun spills over statement with late Goldie

Nigerian television host, Denrele Edun has cried out over hot backlash from Nigerians over his statement of sharing intimate moments with late singer, Goldie.

TopNaija recalls that Denrele came under hot flames from Nigerians after he revealed that he had a few intimate moments with Late Susan Oluwabimpe Filani, popularly known as Goldie, inspite of her marital status.

“I have not shared this anyway butu let me say this now.. My beautiful late friend, Goldie, a lot of people thought we were just friends but we had a few intimate moments. I knew she was married of course, we kept that secret but we had a few intimate moments that made us enter the corner.” He said.

Reacting, Nigerians blasted him for making such revelation about the dead.

The actor, in a recent post on his Instagram, however, has shed light on what he meant when he said he shared intimate moments with his late best friend.

According to him, he was misconstrued when he said intimate moments, as he meant they both shared their secrets.

In his words…

“Intimacy has been misconstrued! Why does everyone think intimacy connotes sex? What a horny frequency. Either ways, intimacy in this context means “shared secrets” and “One Corner” denotes “even catching me with someone in the corner”. “Igboro” na street. We don enter trenches severally! Oh well, this is the first time in years that people are talking about the late Goldie! Damn we would have had a good laugh about this.”
