Why Ben White Really Left The England Squad

For Arsenal’s centre-back/right-back, Ben White, it was a case of a heated argument that ruined his chances with the England squad at the world cup despite initial reports of personal reasons.

The reason behind Ben White, Arsenal’s defender who was part of the Three Lions squad that went to the World Cup tournament in Qatar, leaving the squad has been revealed according to new reports.

According to the Daily Star, the Arsenal player left the group following a fight with assistant manager Steve Holland.

Initially, it was reported by the English FA in a released statement early last week that the defender would be departing the squad, citing ‘personal reasons.

Ben White according to a new report was said to have been dissatisfied in the camp and did not participate in any of the Three Lions’ group stage games.

Ben White was noted to be having trouble getting along with his teammates before a quarrel with Steve Holland in front of the team boiled up the relationship.

According to the source, Holland and White got into a furious argument during a squad meeting before the 0-0 tie with the USA.

The player’s ignorance of their American rivals was said to have infuriated the assistant manager.

Additionally, the defender was not included in the Arsenal team that traveled to Dubai for a training camp.
