The plans that would mark Queen Elizabeth II’ s funeral arrangements recently leaked in Australia as newly elected Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese was briefed on it.

According to the leak, the country will mark the event with a public holiday, with Prime Minister Albanese being informed the news an hour before a public announcement is released by the Buckingham Palace.

The country will then follow other Commonwealth countries by observing ten days of mourning with flags flying at half-mast.

The Australian Prime Minister will then have to put on a black tie immediately after the news is announced.

The briefing also reveals that the Prime Minister has already drafted a planned statement about the monarch’s death, which will be delivered in Canberra.

It is then revealed that upon the Queen’s death in the UK, her coffin will be transported from her home at Windsor Castle to the Buckingham Palace, where it will remain for 4 days.

It will then be taken to Westminster Hall to lie in state for another four days to which the funeral will ultimately take place at Westminster Abbey 10 days after her passing.

A state funeral will be held in Australia, likewise as well as a special service at an Anglican cathedral.

A special meeting of the Executive Council in Australia will also be held to proclaim Prince Charles as King of Australia.

Afterwards, Governor-General David Hurley will officially proclaim Charles the Third as the new King of Australia in a session of Parliament House.

Prince Charles’s full Australian title will then be Charles the Third, by the Grace of God King of Australia and His other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth.

The 96-year-old Queen’s health has been something of a concern for the British after the monarch was forced to cancel a series of public appearances during the Platinum Jubilee weekend due to ongoing mobility issues.

The Queen’s passing could result in a sort of revolution that could ultimately change the world as we know it as Australia are said to be flirting with the idea of splitting from the British monarchy and becoming a republic after the Queen’s death.

This comes from a claim the Prime Minister Albanese made, as appointed ‘Assistant Minister for the Republic’, Matt Thistlethwaite asked a question to which all of Australia will eventually have to answer.

“Do we want King Charles or are we mature enough or independent enough to look to appoint one of our own as our head of state?” Matt Thistlethwaite had asked.
