What The Football World Has In Store For Today
Super Sunday is long behind us, leaving football world to contend with Manchester United’s defeat to Aston Villa, Arsenal’s victory against Chelsea, Liverpool’s resilience and Gerard Pique’s exit from football, but today, football has something else quite special to deal with.
Today, the famous UEFA Champions League anthem rings again, with the UEFA officials set to reveal what lies ahead for the remaining participants of the competition in the next stage that is the round of 16.
It is today, Monday the 7th of November that the top sides like PSG, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Napoli and the likes get to find out their opponents and who it is that could stop them get into the Quarter finals from the draw.
It will be conducted at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland and begins at 12:00 CET.
The group winners will be seeded, and the runners-up are unseeded.

An important fact to know for the uninitiated is that teams from the same countries cannot face each other, and clubs cannot face opponents they met during the group stage.
Ties will be decided over two legs, with the home leg going to the team with the highest seed.
The first legs are set for February 14/15/21/22, and the second legs are slated for March 7/8/14/15.
