What I will be doing during Liverpool vs. Man City — Arteta
Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta knows what he wants from the premier league shocker that will be Liverpool versus Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday, but for the Spaniard it doesn’t stop him from enjoying the hostilities as a neutral fan.
Well, Arteta’s disposition on that day will depend on whatever result comes out of Arsenal’s tie versus Brentford. Should the Gunners secure a victory against the Bees, the Arsenal boss will be sure to ready his pop corn in front of the television, but should it be the reverse or a stalemate, the Spaniard may not be eager to concern himself with whatever result comes out of the game.
Ahead of Liverpool taking on the premier league champions, Manchester City, Mikel Arteta in a press conference addressed the situation.
“We can’t control that. We just have to focus on our game, try to win, and then on Sunday, it’s a game that should be beautiful to watch for any supporter,” Arteta remarked to reporters on Thursday.
On the preferred outcome he would favor out from the tie, Arteta plays coy, stating;
“Privately and publicly, I have no preference (about the result) because it has nothing to do with me,” he stated.
“We know the demands we have. We know the demands Brentford will put on us, then the fact we are still not there (in first place). We want to be better than where we are now. We have to continue to be better.”
