Leandro Trossard’s impressive performance for Arsenal in their 3-0 victory over Fulham on Sunday has drawn praise from the club’s legend Ian Wright, who has hailed the Belgian as an “unbelievable addition” to the team.

Trossard, who joined Arsenal from Brighton during the January transfer window, registered a hat-trick of assists in the first half of the match, setting up goals for Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, and Martin Odegaard.

Speaking to Premier League Production after the game, Ian Wright expressed his admiration for Trossard’s contribution to Arsenal’s squad since his arrival, saying that the player has hit the ground running and can get himself into goalscoring positions without panicking.

“When you’ve got a player of that calibre, who is a very, very good player, to get a signing like that who can come in and be up to speed is invaluable to us,” Wright said. “He’s shown that from the first game until now. He has been an unbelievable addition to the squad.”

Ian Wright also noted that Trossard’s movement on the pitch was impressive and that he was able to create space for himself whether he was coming in from the left or the center.

“When you consider the signings we were trying to make and we ended up getting someone like Trossard, it was a blessing,” Wright added.

Trossard’s performance against Fulham has further cemented his place in the Arsenal squad, and his ability to make an impact on the pitch has not gone unnoticed by fans and pundits alike. With Arsenal currently sitting in ninth place in the Premier League, Trossard’s contribution could be crucial in the team’s push for a top-six finish.
