West Ham United versus Chelsea is one dreaded fixture for the Blues.

It is a game that bears that tendency to reduce Chelsea’s morale and confidence whenever both teams meet. The Hammers in often cases, usually get the highlights against the Blues and even surprise them on occasions that sees Chelsea in dominant form or spirit.

This is however not the case at the moment, as both London teams are currently on a mixed form in terms of statistics and points on tally. For the Blues, it is going to be a long season of uncertainties. They are with a new manager, a young team and a squad of players who currently do not know their positions in the starting lineup. Circumstances might change, and a starting spot is no longer guarantied. This is a strength on a plus side, and also a weakness on another level.
