“We’ll work together” – Nengi reacts to appointment of New Face of Bayelsa Girl Child

Nigerian reality show star, Rebecca Nengi Hampson, popularly referred to as Nengi has reacted to the news of the appointment of a new person as the Face of Bayelsa Girl Child.

This is coming after the Bayelsa State Governor, Duoye Diri announced the fresh appointment of Ebizi Blessing Eradiri, a First Class graduate of Law from both the Niger Delta University (NDU) and the Nigerian Law School as the face of the Bayelsa Girl Child.

Eradiri’s appointment was confirmed on Monday, January 11, as she was also given automatic employment as a lecturer at NDU’s Faculty of Law.

Following this development, there had been reports that Nengi who had been earlier appointed by the governor to the same position has been removed and replaced. However, the reality TV star has taken to her social media account to reveal that she and barrister Eradiri will work together.

She wrote: “Congratulations to Barr. Ebizi Eradiri. It’s amazing how you were able to pull that thru!”

“Special thanks to my Governor for also finding her worthy for the honour. It is without doubt that we will both work together to see how we can front for a better welfare for the Girl child.”
