The 35-year-old daughter of Nollywood thespian, Richard Mofe-Damijo who is also the founder and managing partner of an investment management firm, explained that she and her team were removed from a project in Africa because of their nationality as Nigerians.

Nichole stated this while replying to a tweet made by a social media user who was recounting a similar experience.

According to the Twitter user, identified as Osaretin Victor, a friend of his recommended a consulting role to him in a supposed African country, but because of his nationality as a Nigerian, he lost it.

See his tweet below…

A friend was going to recommend me for a consulting role in Eswatini but because I am Nigerian it didn’t fly. These are issues people quietly keep in the dark but don’t talk about in the open. Nigerians are not loved across Africa. They’re feared and maybe respected but not loved.”

To which Nichole replied:

We were removed from a project after kickoff in Africa’s “best” country for being Nigerian.”
