"We are not sure if Trump was shot with a bullet" -- FBI

FBI Director Christopher Wray has cast doubt on whether Donald Trump was actually struck by a bullet during the assassination attempt at his July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Testifying before the House Judiciary Committee, Wray shared new details about the investigation that have left many questions unanswered.

Under intense questioning from Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, Wray disclosed a crucial piece of information that had been overshadowed by the media coverage.

“With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray stated, hinting at the ambiguity surrounding the incident.

Trump, however, has been adamant in his statements, asserting that he was indeed hit in the right ear by a bullet. This has fueled speculation and confusion, as rumors persist that the projectile might have been something other than a bullet.

Wray added, “It’s conceivable, although as I sit here right now, I don’t know whether that bullet, in addition to causing the grazing, could have also landed somewhere else. But, I believe we’ve accounted for all the shots in the cartridges.”

This new twist in the investigation raises critical questions about the events of that day and the nature of the attack on the Republican presidential nominee.
