"We are all hypocrites and clout chasers" -- Yul Edochie

How many of you fought for Mohbad when he was alive?” — Yul Edochie bites.

Yul Edochie does not mince words as he hits out at Nigerians and his Nollywood colleagues who have been mourning and posting captions on social media following the death of Nigerian artiste, Mohbad last week Tuesday.

In a social media post on his Instagram platform, the Nollywood actor was full of criticism for the double faced nature of the Nigerian society that only tends to express concern over spilled milk than call things to order when spiraling out of control.

Yul Edochie has come forward to shed light on the persistent online bullying and insults he has endured for over a year.

He asserts that the same kind of bullying the late singer Mohbad faced before his untimely demise is what he has experienced from both fellow colleagues and Nigerians alike, all due to his personal decision to take a second wife.

On his Monday Instagram post, Yul Edochie called out his colleagues who have been vocal in demanding justice for the late Mohbad, branding them as “hypocrites and clout chasers.”

The actor stated;

"We are all hypocrites and clout chasers" -- Yul Edochie

“All of you posting Justice for Mohbad, including the Nollywood people, you are not different from the people that were maltreating Mohbad. You are all demons and wicked people, simply chasing clout.

“You are all the same people who have been insulting me for over one year, bullying me on social media, trying so hard to kill me for matter wey no concern you, just because I made a personal decision for my life that is not your business.”

Yul Edochie went on to question the authenticity of his colleagues’ support for Mohbad during his lifetime, emphasizing their sudden outpouring of condolences after his death as opportunistic.

He remarked,

“How many of you fought for Mohbad when he was alive? Now that he’s late, you are using him to draw traffic to your page. Useless people.”

Highlighting the privacy and personal struggles that inspired his decision, Yul Edochie noted that many remain unaware of the challenges he faces within his home.

He called out the lack of support from the Nollywood community, saying,

“None of you know what I’m going through in my home, that inspired my decision. How many Nollywood people come out to say ‘Enough’? You are all waiting for me to die so you can post my picture and write your nonsense ‘Justice for.'”
