Watch Tinubu react to Supreme Court ruling

A video has emerged on social media capturing the poignant moment when President Bola Tinubu assured his dedicated staff of their job security, following the Supreme Court of Nigeria’s affirmation of his victory in the 2023 presidential election.

The Supreme Court, led by Justice John Okoro, dealt a decisive blow to opposition challenges, notably dismissing the petition of the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who had contested President Tinubu’s election victory on the grounds of double nomination.

Furthermore, the apex court also delivered a firm judgment, dismissing petitions filed by the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), particularly that of Atiku Abubakar, on the basis of lacking merit.

This resounding verdict marked the conclusion of all petitions challenging the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, which had declared President Tinubu as the victor of the hotly contested February 25th poll.
