Vitafoam presents gifts to 2022 first babies of the year

Nigeria’s largest foam manufacturer, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc celebrated first babies of the year 2022 in Lagos State.

The first 3 babies of the year 2022 born at Lagos Island Maternity Hospital (The baby factory of Lagos) was celebrated with gifts and maternity products such as Vitafoam Baby Cot, baby beddings, Vitafoam Nursing pillow and breastfeeding cover amongst others.


Vitafoam also donated gifts to the hospital staff and the hospital for continually promoting family and birth of future leaders of Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, the Commercial Director of Vitafoam Nigeria plc, Mr. Sola Owoade said “As a caring family brand, Vitafoam is proud to be celebrating first babies of the year annually by providing comfort through our quality products for the new babies and the hospital”

Dr. Omololu Olufemi, the Medical Director of Lagos Island Maternity Hospital stated that the management of the hospital is pleased to welcome Vitafoam to celebrate baby of the year annually, he commended Vitafoam for their annual support and stressed that these gifts makes the babies feels more special, hence such gesture should be encourage in the spirit of season.

Also reacting to Vitafoam donations, the Apex Nurse of the hospital Mrs. Adebukola Cole stated that “Island maternity is always happy every year to receive gifts from Vitafoam for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd baby, the hospital staff and the hospital as a body. She commended Vitafoam and admonished the brand to keep up the good work and wishes the brand more success in their future endeavours.”

Finally, the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of Vitafoam Nigeria plc, Mr. Olalekan Sanni stated that Vitafoam comes first in providing sleeping comfort and general comfort solutions to Nigerians from birth to old age, and we would continue to give our support to Lagos Island Maternity Hospital and the first babies of the year.
