Originally posted by #X-Daily, the video gained traction as users expressed solidarity and compassion towards the soldiers depicted in the footage. While the exact timing and circumstances surrounding the video remain unclear, it serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing threat of terrorism in Nigeria, a scourge that has plagued the nation for over two decades.

The post accompanying the video read, “Nigerian Soldiers in tears after losing their colleagues in Terrorist attack in Northern Nigeria,” shedding light on the somber reality faced by military personnel combating insurgency in the country’s northern region.

In the video, soldiers can be seen visibly distraught, with tears streaming down their faces, as they grapple with the grief of losing comrades. A voice, presumably belonging to the individual filming the scene, can be heard offering words of solace and encouragement to the distraught soldiers, urging them to cease their tears.

“Stop crying please, stop crying,” the voice implores, attempting to console the grieving soldiers.

“I tell you guys since morning, my mind no dey here, I no tell you?” the voice questions in pidgin English, highlighting the emotional toll of the tragic loss experienced by the soldiers.
