Video Proof Of Singer Harrysong’s Arrest By Police In Lagos Released

A clip that showed the moment Nigerian singer, Harrysong was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command has been released online.

Harrison Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, October 11 after landing in Nigeria, following a petition sent to the Inspector General of Police by music executive, Soso Soberekon.

In the video shared online, the embattled singer was captured walking alongside a man believed to be a police officer.

This all started after the ‘Raggae Blues’ hitmaker, in an interview stated that the music executive, Soso Soberekon was his enemy as he alleged that the music executive sent some gangs to kill him in Port Harcourt.

In his words: “90% of all the friendships are fake. There are people I’ve been working with for years. If you call their names you go say na Harry guy be this. Dem no be my guy,” he said in the episode aired via YouTube on Monday.

As a matter of fact, those are my real enemies. If you see Soso now, you’ll say Soso is my friend. Soso is not my friend, Soso is my enemy. He sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcourt, no jokes. Ask my team, ask everyone.”

Responding to the accusation, Soso took to his Instagram page and expressed his disappointment at the singer.

He questioned why the singer would make such a ”reckless and defamatory statement.”

In a court document shared online, Soso demands the immediate retraction of Harrysong’s statement, an apology, and N500 million compensation.

He further urged his supporters to keep calm as the issue would be addressed properly and legally.
