VIDEO: Man nabbed for stealing over N620,000 from church offering box
Security operatives have apprehended a young Nigerian man for allegedly running away with over N620,000 from a church offering box.
The young man, identified as Opeyemi Olufemi was subdued and arrested after robbing a church of its offering and tithes of N620,000.
In the video shared on social media, a crowd thought to be church members gathered around the suspect after he had robbed a yet-to-identified church of its offering.
Opeyemi was nabbed with a bag where he’d stashed money of all dominations amounting to an actual value of N620,115.
