VIDEO: How to escape a sinking car during flood
Nigeria Meteorological Agency has predicted that there will be flooding in some states during this year’s rainy season.
True to the predictions, a heavy rain that fell on the night of Friday, July 7 through Saturday left hundreds of homes and roads flooded in the Ajah, Ikoyi, Lekki and Victoria Island areas of Lagos State.
Many of the residents in these areas, who are arguably millionaires, were stranded in their homes while others had to flee to hotels and friends’ homes on the Mainland on Saturday after the flood entered their homes destroying property.
Nevertheless, a video posted by ABCnews demonstrates what to do to get to safety when a person is caught in a sinking car during a flood.
