Obi Somto is a Young Nigerian Photographer. He is now on TYN’s radar with an exclusive profile interview on how it all started.

Nigerian photographer, Obi Somto is gradually taking over the Nigerian photography scene, having risen to become one of the top-ranked professionals in his field but all that wouldn’t have been possible if he had decided to pursue a career in Banking & Finance which he studied at Babcock University.

After he discovered Photoshop and Fireworks, he launched his career as a graphic designer and illustrator, and has been shooting professionally for 3 years.

Obi who brings a unique blend of experience, vision and distinction to his style of photography has been commissioned by the African Council of Optometry and The Sight and Hope Foundation among others and has worked with some of the biggest celebrities in Nigeria, including but not limited to Asa, Don Jazzy, D’Prince, Dr. Sid, Ramsey Nouah, Alexx Ekubo, Bryan Okwara, Tuface Idibia, Chidinma Ekile, Brymo, Rita Dominic & Eva.
