United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Inventory and Disposal Assistant in Juba, South Sudan. The duration of this post is 6 months.

UNOPS mission is to serve people in need by expanding the ability of the United Nations, governments and other partners to manage projects, infrastructure, and procurement in a sustainable and efficient manner.

Role Summary
The Inventory and Disposal Assistant will perform the following functions-
-Assist in maintenance of the UNMAS Asset Management system on a daily basis.
-Support in conducting a proper RIR (Receipt and Insection Report) for new equipment and inventories.
-Assist with issuance of equipment to various end users (contractors, staff, office etc) in accordance with equipment loan procedures.
-Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and update Asset Management Database accordingly.
-Assist to conduct full annual stock check, as well as multiple random spot checks.
-Assist to update an inventory management system for non-expendable items as required.

Eligibility
Applicants must have-
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, inventory, procurement, storage, or other related field is required.
-Minimum of 1 year of experience in handling of asset management or inventory control databases is required.
-Experience in the use of computers and office software including; MS Office is required.
-Experience of UNOPS ERP systems (1 UNOPS) is desired.
-Experience working in a multi-national /cultural environment is desired.
-Nationality of South Sudan.
