UNICEF Ng calls out Nkechi’s ex-lover, Falegan over an alleged fraudulent donation

The United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, in Nigeria, has called out actress Nkechi Blessing’s estranged lover, Opeyemi Falegan, over an alleged fraudulent donation.

Falegan, a politician and humanitarian, had launched a donation via his Instagram page and claimed that the proceeds will go directly to UNICEF, TopNaija confirms.

However, matters became complicated after UNICEF Nigeria debunked such claim and tagged it as a scam.

UNICEF Nigeria made the revelation in a post on their verified Instagram page.

Putting out the facts, they hammered that any campaign to raise funds is usually posted on their official website and social media pages, and warned people not to be deceived,

Sharing a photo of the donation post of Falegan, UNICEF Nigeria wrote,

“SCAM ALERT ❌
UNICEF Nigeria is aware of a fictitious donation drive to raise funds for UNICEF. Please be aware that all legitimate campaigns for donations are hosted on the UNICEF website www.unicef.org and verified social media pages.
Do not fall victim to this scam!”
