UK government rolls out 2025 Season Worker Visa program

The UK government has rolled out its 2025 Seasonal Worker Visa program, opening doors for Nigerians and other foreign nationals to gain short-term employment in horticulture and poultry.

With 43,000 visas allocated for horticulture and 2,000 for poultry, this visa pathway promises quick approvals—within just three weeks for qualified applicants—making it an appealing choice for those seeking UK work experience.

The program, extended through 2029, allows horticulture workers to stay up to six months, with jobs like fruit and vegetable picking available year-round, while poultry workers can apply for high-demand slots between October and December.
