Ugezu chastise those who posted about kidnap of actors but failed to announce their release

Nollywood actor Ugezu J Ugezu has chided people who wailed and lamented about the kidnap of colleagues, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Agbogidi, but never announced their release.

The actors, Clemson Agbogidi and Cynthia Okereke were announced, last week, to have been kidnapped after filming at a remote location with a demand of $100,000 for ransom.

It would be recalled that the actors were kidnapped after filming at a remote location in Enugu last week, and their abductors demanded $100,000 to secure their release.

Fortunately, in a statement released by the Actors Guild of Nigeria on Wednesday, August 3, the victims were confirmed to have been released by their kidnappers willingly.

Reacting to the news, Nollywood actor, Ugezu took to his Instagram page to point out that many people who made noise about their kidnap are yet to post about their release.

According to him, people are quick to celebrate their colleagues’ failures rather than their successes.
