UEFA Unveils Champions League Team Of The Week

Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain, and Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool were among those named by UEFA on Thursday to the Champions League team for this week.
Following the conclusion of the group stage match-day six contests on Thursday, UEFA announced the Champions League team in a post on its website.
Mbappe scored a goal as his team defeated Juventus 2-1 in the Champions League, and Courtois and Van Dijk also performed admirably for their teams against Celtic and Napoli, respectively.
The UEFA Champions League roster is listed below:
Goalkeeper
Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid scored 9 points from the rankings
Defenders
Benjamin Pavard of Bayern Munich scored 14 points
Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) scored 12 points
Alejandro Grimaldo (Benfica) scored 12 points also.
Midfielders
Federico Valverde (Real Madrid) scored 15 points
Christopher Nkunku (Leipzig) scored 14 points
Mohammed Kudus (Ajax) scored 14 points
Ferran Torres (Barcelona) scored 14 points
Forwards
Julian Alvarez (Man City) scored 13 points
Olivier Giroud (AC Milan) scored 19 points
Kylian Mbappé (Paris) scored 13 points for his performances for Paris Saint Germain during this week’s UCL game.
Virgil van Dijk and Julian Alvarez of Liverpool and Manchester City respectively are players from an English side present in the UEFA champions league team of the week.
That being said no English player made it into the team of the week in UEFA’s rankings of players.
