Two Men, 60 And 45, Remanded For Defiling 6-year-old Girl In Lagos

Two men have been remanded in a correctional centre in Ikorodu, Lagos for allegedly defiling a 6-year-old girl.

The suspects, identified asAdamu Sule, 60, and Adejoh Musa, 45, were remanded by a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, on Wednesday, NAN reports.

The defendants, whose addresses were not provided, are facing a count charge of defilement.

Mrs A.B Olagbegi-Adelabu, the Chief Magistrate refused to take the pleas of the defendants. She ordered they are remanded in the Correctional Centre in Lagos.

The magistrate then adjourned the case until December 21, pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions’ office.

Earlier, DSP Gbemileke Agoi, the prosecutor, told the court that the defendants committed the crime on Oct. 20 around 7:30 a.m.

Agoi stated that the alleged crime was committed at No. 3, Aunty Kenny St. Anibaba, Ikorodu, Lagos.

He claimed that the offense violated Section 137 of the Lagos State Criminal Code.
